We know that AI is growing so fast to ease our daily works but with the advancement in AI it is causing severe risks of job displacement, identification of theft, privacy issues, netiquette, and in wars. Let’s discuss the effects of AI in the above mentioned points.

Firstly, AI will predominantly impact job displacement for developers and editors. For example before AI, clients hire person or contact to a company for the development of it’s website or for some sort of editing(either static or motion editing) but now due to AI these developer have nothing to do and left jobless. As  in industries, automated processes driven by AI algorithms leave workers behind, facing the daunting challenge of navigating an increasingly automated work force landscape. While AI undoubtedly offers immense potential for innovation and progress, its impact on job displacement underscores the need for comprehensive strategies.

Secondly, Ai is being used as a source of embarrassment and dishonor of notable personalities, specially politicians, of the society. This is so because AI is designed in a way that it can create any type of pic or video on providing some necessary information. As a result of this vulgar videos, audios and specially pictures are made to blackmail the person by giving him the threat of posting these images on social media. And many persons pay them just not to get embarrassed in the society. This type of AI produced videos can be frequently seen in Pakistan which are being used against any politician.

Thirdly, Ai can be used to get not only the personal data of a person but also his biometric data which is more dangerous than anything else. We all know one type of fraud in the recent history of Pakistan when ATM Machines with biometric verification were installed in Pakistan. But customers became the subject of stress and inconvenience as a number of ATM users reported fraudulent activity, complaining of unauthorised withdrawals from their accounts and blockage of plastic cards after reports surfaced of a wide-scale hacking incident.

Fourthly, if AI can get our biometric information and that information can be used for any sort of illegal activity than it wouldn’t be difficult for it to get access to our personal data, track our records and many more. And what if that data contains some confidential research work or any state related important information and secret. Such type of data can be used for blackmailing a person or even a state to get personal benefits.

Fifthly, I want to discuss the modern and dangerous AI-based war weapons. The integration of AI technology into warfare presents a complex array of disadvantages and ethical dilemmas that extend beyond traditional battlefield considerations. AI-driven weapons raise profound ethical questions regarding the delegation of lethal decision-making to machines. The development of fully autonomous weapons systems capable of selecting and engaging targets without human intervention risks triggering an arms race and lowering the threshold for conflict escalation. Such type of weapons can be seen being used by the Israel and America against Palestine and surrounding countries. Also, China and the United States are engaged in a fierce competition for dominance in AI technologies.

In conclusion, while AI brings numerous benefits, its rapid advancement also poses significant risks. It is imperative for policymakers, businesses, and society as a whole to address these challenges through comprehensive strategies, ethical guidelines, and international cooperation to ensure that AI is developed and deployed responsibly for the betterment of humanity.
