DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: 15 YEARS OLD RIZWANA FULLY RECOVERED

LAHORE, November 23:
A victim of domestic violence,15 years old Rizwana who was shifted from Sargodha in critical condition on 24 July, 2023 has fully recovered and will be discharged from the hospital in few days. Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi took special interest in her treatment and was in constant contact with Principal Al-Fareed Zafar, who was kept informed by the hospital administration about the health of girl. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram also as a physician examined Rizwana from time to time and guided the doctors in treatment with his expert opinion. The hospital administration, doctors and nurses performed their professional duties diligently for 120 days in the treatment and care, by the grace of Allah and the skill of the doctors, finally the girl was able to stand on her feet. It is noteworthy that the Punjab Government has been issuing instructions from time to time regarding the treatment of Rizwana and the provision of facilities to her family, in the light of which the family of the girl has been given accommodation and food for 4 months and all facilities were provided to the patient and her family.

According to the patient’s history, when Rizwana was brought to the General Hospital, her condition was critical and her internal organs were also affected. During the treatment, the oxygen level of the girl continued to be uneven and sometimes the condition even entered the critical stage, but now Alhamdulillah Rizwana has fully recovered. With the best treatment and continuous care, the girl is back to life once again. The parents of 15-year-old Rizwana, thanked the CM Punjab and the LGH administration and expressed their feelings said that they were offering prayers for them.
